Viktor Breeden
So I bought my 2010 MKX a month ago and recently started noticing a hissing noise when I'd stop at a drive thru. I'd change gears to see if it would stop and it does more in reverse than drive. I took it into the stealership yesterday and told me it's the transmission shift solenoid, is this a common problem with these? She also has a extended crank as well. This is the 2nd Ford I've owned my first one was a 99 ZX2 and had no problems with her.
Viktor Breeden
Update: The dealership called me today they said they replaced the solenoid and it's still making it. So they took a wire harness for the something for the transmission it would stop and when they plugged it back in it would make it again Now they think could be the valve body
