commbubba19
In other vehicles including my mustang, when a message is received and i tell it to to text to speech and read it to me, the background volume of the radio is lowered or muted. I noticed on my 2016 Edge Sport, when the message is read, the radio volume in the background continues to play at the same volume. This makes it difficult to hear the message and distracting. I've gone through all of the settings and cannot find one that references message playback volume or muting music playback when a message is read. Anyone else? akirby
It's a bug - supposed to be fixed in the near future with a new sync 3 release. It's also an issue with the navigation volume.
Tjm623
Thing that bugs me sometimes, is the difference in volumes. Radio is on and I try to playback a message and it's like a faint whisper. Have to try to quickly turn volume up while it's playing to change that volume or it's back to controlling radio volume. I get the need for different volume settings, but at the very least the phone volume for voice texts Siri all of it should be able to be preset to a determined volume in settings. Still have the ability to adjust on the fly. But it's annoying if on a loud call and then turn it down...forget only to get a text, miss it and have to navigate through the screens to play it back again. /endrant
akirby
Once you adjust the volume it's supposed to stay at that volume, not constantly have to adjust it. It's a bug.
