2008explorer
I was just checking the oil on my 2016 2.0L Ecoboost and the markings on my dipstick are a little different than the ones I see in the manual on page 266. In the manual it looks like the criss cross markings go all the way from hole A to hole B. On mine the criss cross marks stop in the middle between A & B. That is where my oil level is now exactly between A & B at the top of the criss cross markings. I was just wondering if others see the same, am I about a half quart low or not ?? lildisco
Video #4. You had me questioning myself & I went & looked at mine & the owners manual. I assumed it was top of the hash marks, but the owners manual says between the 2 holes is good. If close the the fill mark add a little oil. I 'was' just going to let a smidge out, but I think I'll let it be. I'm basically between the hash mark & the full hole. https://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2013_Ford_Edge_SE_2.0L_4_Cyl._Turbo/oil/check_oil_level Edited September 25, 2016 by lildisco
