Tronjo
I am wondering if the climate controls backlighting should be on in daytime mode. On my 2016 sport they are Off and this is not very convenient in some daytime lightning conditions, I simple can’t see what is what. The automatic nighttime turns them ON though. Maybe I switch something in the setting and cannot find it now? I’m talking about the controls on the attached image.
Burrcold
Mine are off during the day as well (I have my lights set to auto). I also find that they are a little hard to read during the day especially when the sun is glaring. I don't know if it's the size or the font, but it's not the most legible during the day. Tronjo
Thanks Burrcold. Too bad, I hoped it was some setting I missed. My lights are also set on auto, but even if I turn them to low lights during daytime they still stay off. Looks like it is only the light sensor that controls them. Nick Halstead
I think once you get used to all there placements, it wont be an issue. I usually have my dimming all the way down during the day and night so mine are sorta hard to read regardless
Tjm623
I know you are talking about seeing the physical buttons but a quick button press on sync 3 screen to climate menu would easily show you all of these things if you aren't sure
Tronjo
Nick and Tjm623, both you are right and I believe you, but I still would like for these buttons were more legible Thanks guys.
Tjm623
Yea I totally get wanting to have buttons that are pressed to actually look enabled at a glance, just pointing out where else to look of it is one of those light situations where it's next to impossible to see. I have an SEL so my buttons are different, I've never actually had an issue seeing things like auto or ac or recirculate air(those are the only ones I've needed so far with the weather). In the lower models all the buttons are towards the bottom of dash and have a dedicated light above the button itself
