tobster
We recently took our Ford Edge to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After exiting the ferry and driving out onto the beach I realized I needed to let some air out of my tires so I let the tires down to 18 pounds. I drove this car 40 miles on the beach and on the back road and never spun a tire not even once even in foot sugar sand. This car performs flawlessly an this car performs flawlessly in soft sand on the beach

James Costa
tobster, is your Edge an AWD model? Very cool story and good info. I have a lot of family in NC and the Outer Banks are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Chipster
tobster; Did your vacation travels take you far enough north to cross the Bonner Bridge? If so, how was that crossing? I understand they will be having alternate lane closures soon if not already as part of the new Bonner Bridge construction. I am headed to Rodanthe next week.
