akirby
Did you do any work at the wheels - bleeding fluid, etc.? You may have damaged/unplugged a wheel speed sensor.
Clyde Epperson
No work at wheels and no need to bleed brakes. I just reset light by removing negative terminal, light went out so well see. Now I just have brake light issue.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Did you make sure to follow instructions for the brake light switch (below brake pedal)? NOTICE: Do not service the brake pedal or brake booster without first removing the stoplamp switch. This switch must be removed with the brake pedal in the at-rest position. The switch plunger must be compressed for the switch to rotate in the bracket. Attempting to remove the switch when the plunger is extended (during pedal apply) will result in damage to the switch. Remove the stoplamp switch. For additional information, refer to Section 417-01 NOTICE: Do not press, pull or otherwise move the brake pedal while installing the stoplamp switch. The switch must be installed with the booster push rod attached to the brake pedal and with the brake pedal in the at-rest position. Installing this switch with the brake pedal in any other position will result in incorrect adjustment and may damage the switch.

Clyde Epperson
The traction control light is back on after I reset it. Any ideas?
akirby
Traction control light typically points to a wheel speed sensor. Could be totally unrelated.
Clyde Epperson
How do I know which one?
macbwt
Did you purchase a new brake light switch for the job. If not more times than not the switch needs to be replaced also. Get an OBDII scanner and check for the sensor malfunction.
y2ksilverbullit
Ever figure out what the problem was? I was going to ask if you thought the booster was seated properly when re-installing...?? I am getting ready to tackle this job on my 08. Any tips or tricks? I heard taking the cowl cover off makes booster removal/replacement a little easier... TIA
