fprodromides
Why does my air conditioning drain clog?? It makes my front floor soaking wet, the fan won't blow, this for some reason affects my brakes in that not only do they sqeal, but make them spongy. The other noise from the water not draining from the car makes a swooshing sound. Not safe at all. Why does this continue to happen. We have to drain it manually with a siphon hose.
enigma-2
It needs to be cleaned as there's a buildup of mold or algae. I responded to your question on what's causing this and how fix, in the other forum. The water draining (or not draining) has nothing to do with the brakes. The squeek in the morning due to a thin layer of rust that forms overnight (usually). And, certain types of pads squeek more than others. Spongy brakes are due to having air or water (probably both) in the fluid. Way to fix this is to have your fluid bled or completely changed. If your at the point of a brake chsnge, consider moving up to ceramic brake pads (no squeek or squeal) and have your brake fluid replaced with new. (Brake fluid draws water to itself by drawing water vapor out of the air).
fprodromides
I replied on the other forum. The brakes squeal when the tray has water in it, brakes checked 2times.
