mkaresh
The latest TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results have been posted. These are for the year ending December 31, 2007. For the 2007 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX, we received an average of 5.5 months of data on 54 cars. The stat of 69 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.7 per vehicle) is about average for a 2007 model. Not as good as some other Fords, but not bad for a first-year design. No result for the 2008 yet; need more participants for the current model year. We do already have results for some other 2008s, including the new Accord. Everyone who has been helping out with this research, thank you. Those who aren't yet helping out, please consider doing so. With larger sample sizes we'd be able to provide additional detail.
