jan1956
I have a 2015 Edge SEL with sunroof. Bought in Jan.2016 with 8200kms. About 2 month after I got it I opened the sunroof and tried close it and it would not close. Took it back to dealer where they cleaned and lubed the rails and then it was good. Yesterday Aug.6/2016 the sunroof is starting to slow down closing and might need lubing again. I was wondering how often this will happen and if I can clean and lube it myself and what kind of lubricant I need to use. Thank you in advance for your advice. enigma-2
It's not really hard to do. Here's a link to an excellent write up on how to do it by another member. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=search§ion=search&do=search&fromsearch=1 And here is a more official version http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=7820 (If you can't find the brush, look for a hummingbird feeder brush, works great). WWWPerfA_ZN0W
First link doesn't seem to work, enigma mac recently made a video on this issue for his 2011, may still be useful for the 2015:
