normkol
Is it my imagination or is there no true 'Accessory' mode in the 2016 Edge with pushbutton start. The pushbutton only has two positions - OFF or Run. In the run position, which is the only option for accessory, the ventilation system is running and you have to manually shut it off. We have had Toyota and Honda with pushbutton start, and they use a 3-position pushbutton - OFF, Run, Accessory.
akirby
You don't really need one. You can turn the radio on by itself by just hitting the power button.
Waldo
Ford's earlier pushbutton systems did have three positions (like in my 2010 MKT) but it's so confusing and pointless. As noted, if all you want to do is turn the radio on, just push the power button on the radio.
mjonis
Dumb question, but what about the plugins (cigarette lighter areas)? Are those retained power (on all the time)? Another dumb question: What about power windows? (My POS chevy you need to have the vehicle in ACC to power the windows, or start the car).
