Eddie Pembroke
Hello fellow edgers... I have a 2011 3.5 edge. I was interested in upgrading to a cold air intake and also upgrading the exhaust system. With that being said can you guys give me recommendations on brands for both? Thanks in advance...
macbwt
You can spend money on the CAI, but in reality no bang for you dollar as far as HP gains. It will sound cool though. And look neat. K&N seems to have the market some what cornered on the CAI. Exhaust might provide you with more ponies but not a lot (might not be enough to really notice) at about 700-900 dollars that is a lot of cash for maybe 10hp. Again if you delete the exhaust resonator and can live with the extra noise it might be a choice to go with the popular Magnaflow catback system. If you have a job where you start up your Edge at 5am at least the neighbors can save on buying a new alarm clock.

MikeKiloXrayOhNiner
I also want to do the intake and exhaust, but I'll be getting some custom SCT flash tunes to go with them. Aside from K&N, Weapon R also makes a cold air intake kit. Magnaflow and Gibson are the cat back choices and may or may not be a direct bolt-on depending on whether you have an AWD or FWD. You could also go with a custom exhaust setup instead. Seems like a lot of things changed on these vehicles during production in 2011 so make sure you examine your car closely to be sure you're ordering the right parts before you order them.
