Wanted: 2016 Edge (HID) Headlight Wiring Diagram

Recommended Posts

I just traded my 2013 Edge Limited for a new 2016 Edge Titanium (302A) with HID. I have the VLED's V3 amber turn bulbs (GEN1, non-switchback) from the old Edge and installed them into the new one. Getting the entire headlight units out of the vehicle to change the bulbs was pretty simple (without removing the bumper); however, now that they're reinstalled, I need to know which wires control the turn bulb so I can splice in the 6 Ohm resistor to cancel the bulb-out warning. Funny enough, the front turns flash normally in ALL modes without a resistor but, naturally there is still a bulb-out warning that is limited only to the interior dash annunciator, and the "clicker" sound (probably because the entire tail is LED). I'd like to splice into the main connector power wire for the headlight unit so that the entire unit can still be fully removed for future maintenance or mods. Looking for the turn bulb power wire along with it's associated ground wire. Hearing the bulb-out warning is pretty annoying and it's really a simple fix if I just knew which wires to access. With an HID bulb, that damn H15 DRL and a turn, I think I counted 10 wires in the main power connector.

This wouldn't be an issue if I had the VLEDS V3 GEN2.5, that entire system is plug-n-play - even with their new resistors. However, that's $110 bucks that I'd like to save for something else. I'll splurge on the new GEN2.5 V3 amber VLEDs if nobody has a diagram.

Thanks in advance!
