Chipster
Maybe the title of this thread does not ring true for you, but it sure did for me. I was able to sweet talk my way onto a brand new 1967 Honda SC 160 Scrambler back in the day. It led to a series of bikes of which I still have pictures of though I hung up my helmet back in 2007. I’ll post up pictures of a few of my bikes in hopes that those of you that ride will do the same. In between the SC160 and the Honda VFR 800 came a 1976 250 Yami Enduro a 1981 Kaw. SR 650. I use to race the 160 on Sunday's in a converted (for the day) cow pasture. When you had a shitty day... It was real shitty! TheWizard
I worked for Honda for many years so I had access to ride almost every bike they made in the 80s. Had a lot of fun on some models like the FT500 thumper and VF750 Interceptor and almost killed myself on a VF1100 Sabre but found I liked touring or sport touring bikes the most. So I've owned GL500 and GL650 Silver Wings, a PC800 Pacific Coast, an ST1100, and several Gold Wings over the years (the GL1500/6 is still my favorite). I also had the granddaddy of huge touring bikes... the Suzuki Cavalcade. Edited July 14, 2016 by TheWizard
Redbow
Never rode one that did try to kill me. My Dad used to race Indians back in the early teens. Would not let us have bikes when we were young, to dangerous, he said. I married a Nurse. So none of our kid were allowed to have bikes while they lived at home(to dangerous). I have thought about a trike, but now being "older than dirt". I've given up all thought of anything with less than four wheels. I do have a 33 Ford Vicki that is real quick.
