roots57
Does power stop makes a z23 kit for the gen II edge? I'm looking for a performance brake upgrade without having to go all in for a $4k Rotora BBK. The more I drive my '16 Sport, the more I get frustrated with these seemingly insufficient brakes and is probably my biggest criticisms of this car. There is plenty about it I do love, but these brakes are killing me! Anyone have suggestions? I don't mind investing some decent $$ in better brakes, but I'm trying to avoid spending $4k. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
https://www.powerstop.com/product/power-stop-z23-kit/#y=2016&mk=FORD&mo=EDGE&ss=Models%20with%20345mm%20Front%20Rotors Rear Only K7144Front Only K7143Front + Rear K7231 https://www.amazon.com/Power-Stop-K7231-Evolution-Drilled/dp/B0741S8YCK/ So yes, it seems the kit exists ... I would probably swap out the pads for EBC Yellowstuff, if available. z23 are good, but Yellowstuff is substantially better. Front https://www.amazon.com/EBC-Brakes-DP43046R-Yellowstuff-Street/dp/B01D3TMUQG/ The rear pads are DP43047R https://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com/Brakes/EBC-Yellow-Stuff-Brake-Pads?set-vehicle=1 These guys might also work for you: http://raceconsultingagency.com/ebc-brakes/ebc-brake-pads-yellowstuff-4000-series/g-63410.aspx Edited December 9, 2017 by WWWPerfA_ZN0W
roots57
Thanks for the links. I contacted Rotora and their kit is actually like $6k for all four corners and that's with a 50% discount and a limited sponsorship agreement. This just includes agreeing to put on fender stickers for a year and posting reviews and going to some car shows, etc.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Might as well talk with Todd Cook at TCE if you want to spend that dough. Does a lot of custom kits. http://www.tceperformanceproducts.com

Dieselboy
I just bought a 15 sport and was looking at brake kits. How do I find out rotor size for z23? I have the 22” rims so I’m assuming the 345mm?
