Val Stanis
I have a Ford Edge 2016 Titanium and by default my DRL is my low beam light. So, all the time my headlight are ON. On some of the Edges I saw that high beam is used for DRL. I'm wondering if this can be changed by myself or I need to go to the dealer to change this? Hermans
You can turn off DRLs by using the controls on the left side of the steering wheel cpntrols and the left screen. I turned mine off. When I travel in Canada, I'll turn them on.
Val Stanis
In Canadian version of Edge, there is no such option.
cjh
Edges with HIDs = both low and high beams come from the projector housing = DRL is in the place where the high beam normally is. Edges without HIDs = DRL and low beam come from the same bulb = high beam is separate. No you cannot change this unless you swap your headlights with a vehicle that has HIDs. enigma-2
In Canadian version of Edge, there is no such option. Can be turned back on by a dealer.
Tjm623
If you shut this feature off via menu will the LED signature lamps still be on? I wish they used the turn signals like my f150 did...I feel like the using the actual low beam has premature burnout written all over it. If you do a HID kit for the halgon setup, what happens to DRL? Does it try to use them at lower wattage? I can't imagine that's good for those bulbs. Or are u forced to shut them off via options in order to use said kit
