larryhoward
2014 Ford Edge SEL. When changing the heater A/C temperature, there is a big variation in the temperature of air delivered thru the vents on both driver and passenger sides. Example: Increase temperature 2 degrees and the air temp increases 6 degrees then drops back 8 degrees, and then moves up a few degrees. This wide spread plus or minus degree changes cannot be normal. There are times when the air blowing thru the vents is much colder than the temp set. Bobs2015EdgeSport
Sorry I can't help you with your particular problem here, but I did want to share that it took me a long time to figure-out that, if you set the temperature at 70-degrees or ABOVE (as in the winter), the system will automatically shift all of the air flow DOWN to the lower (floorboard) vents... but, if you set it at BELOW the 70-degree threshold (as in the summer), all of the air is instead routed to the UPPER vents! I guess this is to keep your feet warmer in the winter, and your arms cooler in the summer? I've never seen this before, at least until I got my 2015 Edge, so it really threw me for a loop! (I thought something was wrong with the air dampers, at first)!
