enigma-2
Sitting on the varanda drinking a new drink I invented. Call it a Dirty Martian. Two jiggers of London Dry Gin, 3/4 jigger of Russian Vodka, 1/2 jigger of Martini & Rossi Sweet Vermouth and one jigger of olive juice. Comfortably numb.
akirby
Can't do the dry stuff. Give me a salt rimmed Margarita or Mojito!

PaulSchott
I just want a Verrrrrry dry Vodka Martini. I had a bad experience with Gin. By verrrrrry dry I mean Vodka from the freezer in a nice conical glass with a few olives. Comfortably numb and a little stupid, ahhh
enigma-2
So basically a... dirty martiniexcpppppt it also has vodka and "sweet" vermouth. Sort of a combo of a gin martini and a vodka martini. Btw, I use my Lincoln branded coffee travel mug to do the "shaken and not sturred" gig. Makes it taste much better. lol. Comfortably numb and a little stupid, ahhh I believe that you have to put a drop of dry vermouth on you finger and rub it on the rim to technically call it a "martini" The more olives the better, imo.
Brucifer
I figured there would of been a potato involved.
PaulSchott
I actually pass the vermouth bottle over the glass. Any molecules that make it through the bottle and fall in the glass are the perfect amount.

Redbow
You know it's hot in Texas from now until late October. So an Afro/soviet really does the trick of cooling you off after mowing the yard. You ask "what is that?" It's two jiggers of Kahlua and two jiggers of Vodka(basically a Black/Russian). In a blinder about half full of Ice. Blend to the consistency of a slushy. and enjoy. Doesn't take but one to give a very cool delightful place to relax. Burke

Brucifer
Hold on, I need to mow my grass ... It's 89 degrees here with 66% humidity. Mow mine, too.
enigma-2
After a pitcher of afro/soviets, I'd trim your hedge as well. (OK if I use my chainsaw)? 89° at 66% rh = beach or pool weather.

enigma-2
Think it hit 68° here in Indiana today. !!
Redbow
Supposed to be 99 today with high humidity, heat index(feel like temp) 108 and that's in North Texas. One pitcher may not be enough. Burke
