Tom Champagne
Before anybody flames me I would like to know if I can get a different turn signal indicator that's not so loud? I'm not old but it is the loudest of any car I've owned TIA
Tom Champagne
Never mind. After some research there isn't anything I can do. The turn signal indicator is part of the gage cluster. I'll live with it.
enigma-2
From: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1172419-turn-indicator-noise-is-annoyingly-loud-2.html about 2/3 the way down: "Loud blinkers... ...no more!!! I took my gauge cluster back out, to see if I could do anything about the noise, and there is a speaker in the cluster. It's on the drivers side of the cluster, there is a hole , in the bottom of the hole is the speaker, there is room to put some foam or something in there to muffle the sound. I took mine apart and took the speaker out. Nice and quiet. So much better."
Tjm623
I wish they were louder on my '16! I can't hear them. My '14 f150 had a different stalk that wasn't mechanical so it gave no feedback and were smooth but I had driver face lights on my side mirrors. Every time I change lanes now I'm looking down to double check if it's on when I try to do a lane change flick on the stalk. I can't hear them and my mirrors have nothing facing me to see!
