Cellbine
Sup Y'all, Got a question for you. I need help identifying more information about this cue I bought a while ago. I know that it is a Poison Strychnine cue with a Ghost UniLoc connection. Other than that I don't know much more about it. I must have bought it about 8 years ago now. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks in advance!
onyxbfly
Ah a fellow pool lover. I used to manage a few pool halls in my past life. IIRC The poison brand is own and made by predator. They were introduced as I started to leave the business. I've played with a few but never owned one. By any chance would you be interested in selling it? Cellbine
Right, I know the it's relation to predator. I also have a predator z2 cue for it also. I really have enjoyed this stick and couldn't remember what model it was etc. I am interested in its value and know that it is discontinued but can't find anymore information on it. I bought this design because I like the beautiful simple look. I am not opposed to selling it because I haven't been playing this past year. I started playing about 15 years ago. onyxbfly
The pic on the web site doesn't do it any justice. I have a table in the basement that has been used for storage..... Used to play regularly but then i got tired of hearing my neighbors complain about my HT in my living room. Then i decided to finish the basement. Which didn't get finished and now my table has been used for storage ever since How much does it weigh? If you decide to let it go, how much would you like for it? I have a Meucci Sneaky Pete with a red dot shaft. Unfortunately it has a crack in the ferrule. I'll sort it out sooner or later Edited May 12, 2016 by onyxbfly
Cellbine
Oh man, sorry to hear about the crack. As far as selling it goes, I have the predator z2 shaft along with the poison shaft which would have to be sold with it because I couldn't do anything with the extra shaft if it wasn't. I would have to have $700 + shipping for it. The price is not meant to be insulting/disrespectful, I am just really attached to it and have no real reason to sell it. Every time I think about selling it I just haven't brought myself to do it. It is meant to deter you LOL. This cue feels like an extension of my arm and has served me well. I am unsure of the exact weight. I like lighter sticks so it is most likely 18oz, possibly 19. There are no weights inside the bumper/butt cap.
onyxbfly
Mission Accomplished!! No issues nor worries. I have successfully been deterred I can wk with an 18oz but I prefer a 19oz. I have a 20oz jump cue and a 21oz break cue. Of course I'd rather play with either one of those instead of a house stick. But if I can walk in and get a good roll with a 19 I'll shoot all evening with it. I emphatically agree with you. When you are in stroke your favorite cue feels like an extension of your arm. Point, shoot and watch em fall. Do us both a favor, now that you feel a bit reminiscent......go shoot and enjoy your stick and the game! Cellbine
Haha, thanks for understanding. At the moment I am considering selling the z2 shaft. My folks are coming to visit us next month, so I will put it to good use =)
