BringthePayne
I just picked up my new '16 Edge Sport last week and unfortunately live in a two plate state. The dealer gave me the front plate mount but did not install it. I thought I'd take the opportunity to see if anyone knows of a no-drill option available? I really like the look of the front end and hate to even put the plate on but if I do I'd really prefer not to drill holes!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Something like this, maybe: https://www.hidetheplate.com/
BringthePayne
Something like that might work but every link I clicked on gave me a 404 error except the home page. Thanks!
enigma-2
The website is under construction and you would need to email them for info. Is there any possibility you could attach the plate holder with a pair of heavy gauge cable ties? No holes to drill and can always be removed later without leaving marks. Just checked on my 09 and it's easily doable but I don't know about your 16. And if not, you could always duck tape it to the bumper. Should hold for a year or so....... Haha, the tape is the best idea yet! I've been watching other cars and tons of people around here aren't using a front plate so I will likely just do that until I get pulled over for it. Zip ties aren't a bad idea either. I'll look over the front end in a few to see if that's possible. I don't recall if the honeycomb stuff on the front is solid or not. ONEDGE16
Instead of duck tape, have you considered 3M double sided tape? It should do the trick. Another option would be heavy duty self-adhesive velcro
WingNut
I'd throw it in the front windshield and keep the mount in reach in case you get pulled over about it. Then you just say: "I have the mount right here.. have an appointment for the dealer to install later this week". Or just keep the plate on the mount in your Edge and if you get pulled over tell them "Damn thing fell off...taking it to the dealer to have it fixed". And then the cop looks at the the front bumper and doesn't seem any mounting holes ....

enigma-2
I would imagine g you would need to use the heavy duty ties, the ones that are 5/16" wide and rather thick, for this.

CARR142
How about this: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Electric-Hide-Away-License-Plate-Frame-Kit,66564.html
enigma-2
WWWPerfA_ZN0W already suggested this same bracket (or one just like it) in an earlier response. Interesting but very expensive, subject to road damage, still requires drilling holes and running a 12 volt circuit under the car. Thread starter wanted to mount the plate without drilling. If it were me, I would just drill the holes. More reliable and the plate would be needed by the next owner anyway.
