Abbby
So we all know what happened. Changed the front 3 plugs no issues. Working on the back 3 and all the coils separated from the boots and now are stuck down inside. What the heck!!!! AAAGGGGHH.. Any great ideas to get them out. I am trying super glue on one to see if that works. Any other ideas besides a long needle nose and then wrecking them and of course I do not have new ones. Abbby
Well super glue and hot glue did not work so worked at it with pliers and screw driver and got them all out. worried about debris down in there so rigged up a vacuum with small tube and cleaned around based of plug. Should be good. Moved all three front ones to the back and zipped all back together. Just need tp pickup 3 plug boots.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Glad you were able to remove those pesky plug boots! I usually use an extra long needlenosed pliers or hemostat (harbor freight) for this type of job.
macbwt
A bit of dielectric grease in the boots will help out a bunch when the next change has to occur.
pilotdog68
I ordered 6 boots for my change and didn't end up needing any of them. If you pay shipping I can send you three (if you haven't already ordered)
Abbby
I picked up 3 at the dealer today but thanks for the offer. If I knew they were only $3 each I would have bought 6 for insurance.
