akirby
Check out their other stuff on youtube (Home Free). Pretty amazing stuff considering they don't use any actual instruments.
RC Mike
Iron Maiden (mostly post-reunion stuff), Springsteen, Sammy Hagar (surprisingly fits my mood lately), and some Rush. Going to see Maiden in June and GnR in July.

Rush........OMG, saw them in concert twice in High School in the early 70's and they are still touring and rocking !

Chipster
I have been listening to this new work by Jason & Co. and found this. It's a good sample of this record. http://www.npr.org/event/music/545844291/jason-isbell-tiny-desk-concert Edited August 28, 2017 by Chipster

chefduane
Today I had the "oldies station" on. They played "One Less Bell to Answer" by Marilyn McCoo and the original 5th Dimension. I know y'all may give me a hard time about it, but I really liked it. Really a great tune. enigma-2
Yea, well how does that compare to the giant hit, "I Sold My Heart to the Jumkman"? lol
chefduane
Reminds me of a story... if I may... Way back in the dark ages when I was but a lad, my cousin Carol (in high school) dated a garbage man. Not the kind that stays in the cab and the truck does all the work, but a bonafide riding the back of the truck throwing the cans garbage man. Honest work to-be-sure but nasty! Dude stunk all the time. But she loved the guy. My aunt and uncle did NOT approve. Well, 35 years later they have 3 great kids and the guy runs the whole region and is probably pulling down $150k+. Nice house, livin' the dream. My aunt and uncle now say that they knew he was a great guy right from the start! Go figure. 1
aldrums
I have had the new 311 album "Mosaic" and the new Incubus album "8" in heavy rotation lately. Also, MUTEMATH's new album "Play Dead." My 3yo son is obsessed with 311 and Incubus lately, and I'm totally ok with that.
Chipster
Just discovered these kids. Gives me some hope that rock and roll as I like it does indeed have a future! Edited November 7, 2017 by Chipster
chefduane
^ Actually not bad at all. Much better that some of the garage crap that passes as rock-n-roll these days. Great solo.
pintokid
The Edge is my wife's car. And I am ashamed to say, but every time I start up her car (including our previous Escape) the sound system is off. Yes off! It has AM, FM, satellite, CD, and USB, and the sound system is off. Sheesh. Sirius Classic Rewind 25 is where you'd usually find me, but Watercolors 66 keeps me driving more sane.
