Vette10R
Hey guys just saying hi. We picked up a 2013 Edge SEL 3.5 fwd this week for the wife. So far I really like the thing, I like it more than I thought I would that's for sure! I do want to start some maintenance and modifications as soon as possible. It has 84,000 miles on it so I want everything clean as new! So far the oil/filter and cabin air filter is changed. It could use a new engine air filter too, it has a fram right now but I'm wondering if I should put a Ford Motorcraft in there? Another thing I would like to do is upgrade the headlights to LED or HID, I've never used LED headlights but I know they are becoming more popular now. Does anyone here run LED or is everyone still going with HIDs? Thanks for any help guys!

Vette10R
Yeah I'll get some pictures of my vehicles and toys up tonight when I get home! Any advice on my questions about the edge by chance?

Vette10R
So from what I am finding out is the bulbs in my edge are 9012 and those will cross to a 9006. If I order 9006 bulbs will those function as both low beam and high beam? If not what bulb do I need to order?
normcloutier
There is technically no low beam/hi beam. There is a mechanical shutter that cuts off the top of the beam for low. When you active thigh beam, the shutter moves and lets all the light shine through. You can hear the shutter when changing between the two.
