solas989
I am missing the mute button on the Edge - it is a highly valuable option on my Mazda. Of course my Mazda doesnt have sync either. Is this normal for Ford to not include it? I know I can volume down or turn off, but I still like my mute button. Just my ranting is all. Solas I thought the same thing with my Fusion. But once I realized that pushing and holding the volume down button effectively mutes the sound within a second or so I realized that you don't need a separate mute button. It works well once you get used to it.
Phoenix
Isn't there a little button on your radio with a phone icon on it? I have the 6 CD in dash stereo and it has one. That's the mute.

akirby
Seriously - there isn't much difference between pushing a mute button and pushing and holding the volume down for a split second. Try it.

akirby
I can do that, but then i have to turn it back up again You are missing the point - I AM LAZY!!! :P Me, too! But having had both I can honestly say that I don't miss the mute button at all. In fact I think it was a smart move that frees up another button.
