Low Frequency Damper for 2007?

Can someone give me some direction on where to find the low frequency damper for a 2007 Ford Edge? The brakes on ours HOWL when backing out of the garage in the morning. No scrape, or squeak - HOWL. I am thinking about giving these a try as everything looks good on the brake system in the rear, otherwise.

Thanks!

The dampers are a feature on the 2011+. They are not OEM on the 2007-10. If your brakes are Ford/Motorcraft parts, consider going aftermarket to get rid of this problem. I have the Power Stop kit on mine, macbwt had installed the AutoZone hicarbon parts on his, IIRC.

If you have AWD, might also be an issue similar to that on the Escape, but the RDU could also need servicing/replacement.

My 2007 has the same noisy brake problem when backing. I find it is only after the car has been parked overnight and the disks got wet from rain. After a short drive and using the brakes a few times the problem goes away till the next time. I just keep thinking my neighbors are saying why doesn't he fix that POS. It's really not that bad and I think it's just worse inside the car.

Moisture sure is the enemy. Does not cause braking issues although noisy. The rear dampers will stop the noise although you my hear a really low growling sound until you stop the first time or so. Squeaky you will not be said Yoda.
