knickerbocker
So we were driving on the highway and some truck kicked up a tire tread which struck the front of my 2016 Edge. The license plate and grill took the brunt, with the chrome grill insert cracking in 2 places. The rest of the grill, emblem, hood and lower fascia have some rubber scuffs that should buff out. Does anyone know what the part number is for the chrome grill inserts and how much it'd be to replace? Could it be a DIY job? Thanks all for your replies. cjh
Sorry to hear about that. Man, didn't realize a new grille is that expensive. Note to self: don't break.

cjh
Would think that insurance would cover this. (?) Cheaper to buy and replace on your own than paying a deductible and dealing with the hassle.
knickerbocker
**Update** Well, finally got everything fixed up after this ordeal. The bumper was scratched, the grill cracked and the grill shutters were broken. Parts used: FT4Z-8213-A Decal, FT4Z-8200-AA Grille, FT4Z-8475-A Shutters Total cost to repair: $2825.51 Luckily we went through insurance and were able to secure a rental during the repairs, and the deductible was partially covered by the dealer. Total Cost to me: $200. And now my Edge is back to looking like new! Pics of before and after:
