Randy Johnson
Anyone know how much wattage these put out so I can shop for a well matched speaker? I'm not going to add an amp for the mains. I am thinking of just replacing all four doors with something decent, nothing crazy. Thoughts? akirby
These wouldn't be a bad choice at $150 for 4: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107DXI571/Polk-Audio-DXi571.html?tp=93 If you want to go even cheaper: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130TG6845R/Pioneer-TS-G6845R.html?tp=
Randy Johnson
What else have you guys done besides the adapter for a simple door swap? Dynomat really important?
Randy Johnson
Have you guys found the movable tweeters to be helpful? Since these speakers are down lower in the door? Is it that a sales gimmick? I understand the imaging thought to point the highs toward your ears. Bass is non directional so its not as important. I'm debating if I "need" this feature. Randy Johnson
How deep of speakers can I get in the doors? I have noticed amazon says "will not fit 2013 Edge" on some pages, but they are 5x7/6x8 speakers. Either they are too deep, or amazon does not have perfect data. Here is an example of a speaker that says "Will not fit".http://www.amazon.com/Kicker-11KS68-6x8-Coaxil-Speakers/dp/B004NTJEUQ/ref=sr_1_10?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1455303658&sr=1-10&keywords=ford+speaker+kit
Randy Johnson
I just purchased some Rockford Fosgate Punch P1683 from Crutchfield. Any insight, pictures, videos on how to remove the door panels without breaking anything?

Example: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0032FOKAQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?qid=1455320478&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=2013+ford+edge+speaker Probably was too deep. fishx65
Search Ford Edge door panel removal on youtube. There's a couple vids on there that should help. The Rockfords you ordered should sound just fine and about a billion times better then the factory toys.
