sfugate62
I purchased my 2013 FWD Edge in Central Florida and am heading to KY where there will be snow. Will I be safe to drive?
akirby
The Edge will be fine as long as you have all season tires and not summer tires. Whether it's safe for you to drive depends on whether you've driven in snow and ice before.
sfugate62
Thank you for your response. That eases my nerves some. While getting my Edge serviced for the trip I was told by the service tech that since I purchased my vehicle here in Florida that it was not made for Northern weather, especially since it is FWD and not AWD. Does the Advanctrac with RSC also help should I get in a snowy situation?
akirby
Absolutely, and I would find another dealer if they give you those kinds of BS answers.
