WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Hate to tell you this, but in 2010, the Edge switched over to using Mercon LV, not Mercon V. For whatever reason, they chose not to wait till 2011 to make this major change. The LV spec fluid is relatively thinner, so basically on V, the trans is "choking" IMHO. So dump out the mercon V, put in mercon LV and see if that resolves the problem. The POWER STEERING still uses Mercon V, FYI. macbwt
You sure all six cylinders are firing? Transmission fluid has never caused a vibration in any vehicle I have ever worked on. Your vibrations are most likely engine misfired related. or worse case engine failure (which I doubt) 3.5 is a pretty good engine. Misfires are less noticeable at higher RPM than at idle. Misfires will also be even more notable when in drive and brake such as at a stop light or sign. You would be better to have the engine diagnostic performed. The other alternative is the upper right engine mount or the lower left engine mount. Edited February 6, 2016 by macbwt
