Kylegonzales87
On my wife's 2010 Ford Edge limited without navigation I am unable to switch to Satellite radio. Took it to ford and they are unsure why. Anyone have any ideas on how to get into sat mode?
enigma-2
About the only thing I can think of is to check fuse #13. It's 5 amp, forth from the bottom on the left side. If you don't have a spare handy, try pulling the 5 amp #45 for the wipers just to test. Edited January 1, 2016 by enigma-
candurin
Are you sure the vehicle is equipped with sat? Do you have the roof antenna (I'm not trying to sound like a useless Dell customer service rep, I swear!). The media button should cycle through all the options and SAT will be one, if equipped. Maybe the SAT antenna cable came loose from the rear of the head unit? Edited January 1, 2016 by candurin
Kylegonzales87
Yes it does have sat radio it has worked in the past I think the fuse may have been the problem on my way to the store to purchase a new fuse since it was blown
enigma-2
Additional thoughts, try putting the radio into the diagnostics mode (press & hold button #3, these press button #6). The speaker test will start, before it finishes, exit by using the screen and run diagnostics. See if there any codes present. (I imagine this is what your dealer did, but just in case ... ).
