Seems I cannot install this kit into the '15 because the low beams and high beams are different bulbs. The '13 had one bulb with the shutter for low/high beam. Nick Halstead Posted December 28, 2015 Report Share Posted December 28, 2015 I was attracted here because of "retrofit" but I see you're not retrofitting anything, just adding a PNP Kit. I have the Morimoto system left from the '13 Edge. That Edge had the shutter to cut off the high beam (low and high were the same bulb). In this '15 Edge, if I install the HID into the projector, won't I be blinding others, since it's in effect a high beam bulb, without the shutter to make it low beam? Thanks for your replies. I'm kinda leery about putting an HID in a halogen's place, glare and such. Wonder how it'll look if I just use the low side for the HID i have hid for both low and high beams...i am a few years behind you as far as model year but i love the hid..i know my fixtures are reflective and made for halogen bulb,but i set my headlight angle immediately after install and i have never had anyone flash me as if they were bothered. they are much better than the halogen.but dont bother changing the high beam if you are contemplating it. you will get more light staying with halogen. just do the hid low beam and get some nice halogens for high. there literally is no difference in the amount of light i get from high or low..only difference is the high beam projects a bit more in width but honestly cant even notice...i have a different heat level for my high beams. i think as far as your fixture being reflective would affect an led bulb motre so than hid. but i could def be wrong.. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
