jalm111
This has been annoying me for a while. Doesn't always happen, seems to only happen when the car is on an un-even surface. Dealer said they can't repro and have no clue what I'm talking about. Vid here: http://1drv.ms/1NM6OI0
knickerbocker
I'd be willing to bet it's an alignment issue. Should be covered under warranty.
Nick Halstead
have you tried reprogramming it. Mine has done that before but only like once and it was cause the sensor sensed the gear in the back was going to interfere with shutting
Brad Luczak
Mine did the same thing after my wife opened it in a low parking garage and the emergency sensing sensors kicked and and saved my hatch luckily, but it seemed like it threw off the calibration and my hatch wouldn't always close. (Mine was more like 30-50% fail to close) After I set a new height for my hatch to open and then set it back to default. I've never had it happen again. I'm sensing that should solve his problem also, it also solved mine
jalm111
I'll give it a shot when I get home today. It ONLY does it when parked on an un-even surface though, never had the issue on a flat spot.
djrjr
My first 2015 Sport was like yours - not in regards to the hatch but my middle light bar didn't light up. Looks like yours isn't lit in the video, either.
Brad Luczak
If resetting the sensors for the hatch height didn't work... I noticed you got a aftermarket hitch installed. Is it possible that it or it's shadow is interfering with the foot sensor causing your hatch to re-open? I know ford doesn't offer a hitch option with the sport. Vadimus
Did you try adjusting hatch rubber posts? I'd first screw them in for a turn or so.
