I think the latest version works with both older and newer cards. I would ping Ford IV Team to be safe, although the website should warn you if a different card is needed. That was version 3.6, and it came out in 2013. The current version is compatible with A3 and newer cards. Which SD card do you have? One of the upgrades did require a new card but I can't remember which one. I think the latest version works with both older and newer cards.
