There is stuff spinning when diode should have it stopped from that direction. Hopefully it all works out. Just wondering the differences in transmissions that I belief are the same from 2008 to 2009 but the 2009 takes mercron Lv. Here are the comparative datasheets: Product Data Sheet MERCON V.pdfFetching info... Product Data Sheet MERCON LV.pdfFetching info... As you can see, LV has lower viscosity at all rated temperatures. Surprisingly, it shears more easily as well, with a lower VI than the V fluid. Beyond that, I don't have a clue what the differences could be. Jsenske Posted December 31, 2015 Author Report Share Posted December 31, 2015 Fixed the transmission. The root cause was bad TCM/solenoid pack. I'm sure the hard parts broke because of the strain the delayed shifting put on it. Wanted to make sure I posted the fix. There's always EBay or other Ford dealers as a fallback, but I'd stick with Benny if it comes down to it.
