PaulSchott
I posted something about this over a year ago. The front bumper attachment points do not hold the bumper in place. This fix works well. I did it on the other side almost 2 years ago and it still looks good. The pictures tell a thousand words. Pull the bumper away from the fender and put a line of hot glue into the clamping areas on the black attachment plastic block. Quickly push the bumper back in place and hold for about 3 minutes. The results are great and will last.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Does the glue need to be at a particular temperature for this to work? I have a hot glue gun (10W?) meant for arts & crafts ...
PaulSchott
Good point. Mine is 150W for industrial use in electronics I'm not sure if it makes that much difference. you might want to warm the area up first with a hair drier. You are putting the glue on plastic parts so it will stay hotter longer than directly on metal.
