Tribby2001 Posted December 23, 2015 Report Share Posted December 23, 2015 That is a sub-amp (part# 8A5T-18C808-AB) mounted on the rear of the factory sub-box (part# 9T4T-18C804-AA) in my 2010 Edge Limited w/Premium 6CD (no NAV) Audio System. AFAIK - I only know of a DSP shown in the service manual for the Lincoln MKX w/THX sound system. yes Tribby2001 that is the sub amp,i have another box that is next to the factory enclosure. well now it is mounted to my fiberglass enclosure.it is for my sync and i think possibly controls the factory sound processing option on my h/u. idk for sure but i have to keep it as long as i have factory head unit.you can see it here mounted to enclosure and the factory amp is mounted to car.
