Laxnut
Hello everyone, just got my Edge a few weeks ago. Last car was a tuned 2012 Regal GS (330hp/365tq) I'm definitely very happy with it so far, but I am having trouble with the lack of control with the steering wheel buttons. For instance, I would like to scroll through all of my sat radio favorites without having to navigate from the home screen, and then to each set of favorites. Sorry in advance if this is an obvious answer. Thanks

Laxnut
Thanks, I had been teetering between the edge and a fusion titanium, but I needed the backseat height and cargo space. Just easier to deal with when you have a baby back there.
akirby
You can use the Source button (if you have one on the dash somewhere) to change to the next set of presets, but to go back to set 1 you'll have to either cycle through all the other inputs or click it directly on the entertainment screen or use voice control. Vadimus
No Source button on a dash of MyFord Touch-equipped 2015 Edge . Sources are selectable via either touch screen, Entertainment menu on instrument cluster right hand screen, or through voice command. In Radio/Sirius modes Seek button scrolls through presets, tune scrolls between stations.
Laxnut
Ah ok, so SOL on a quicker way to scroll through favorites. Weird that they intended it to be that way, makes channel surfing between favs slightly difficult. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get used to it. Do any of you have things you wish you were able to do with the steering wheel ctrls? Edited November 17, 2015 by Laxnut

Do any of you have things you wish you were able to do with the steering wheel ctrls? I'm with you on this. I like to just browse channel to channel and not through presets. I listen to a lot of different genres. If you hold down the "Seek" button (or whatever it is considered) for a few seconds, it will go to the next channel instead of the next preset. Actually you can use the right hand myford display with the right 5-way directional button to change the source from sat 1 to sat 2 to sat 3. Or just hit the voice button and say sat 1 or sat 2 or sat 3. Given the touch screen interface you'd think they could give you the option of having all the presets for a particular source on the screen at one time - 15 or 18.
