WingNut
Threw a coat of sealant (Opti-seal) on the Edge yesterday. Will probably throw another layer on in a few weeks followed by a good wax (i.e. Collonite) before the snow starts to fall. That usually holds up against the touchless washes when it is too cold out to wash by hand.
luminator
Sounds like a good plan, I wish my Edge would be ready already as it is almost getting too cold for me to get a coat of wax/sealer on it for this winter.

Worst case scenario....the next time you have it washed, hit it with some spray wax as long as it isn't under freezing temp.
fishx65
I've always had the best luck with Z-2 when it comes to winter protection but this year I'm trying the Duragloss 601/111 combo. Last year I went with DG 601/105 topped with Collinite 845 and was not thrilled with the durability compared to the Z. I'm in a nasty salt belt.
