Chipper Garrison
I have a 2011 Ford Edge SEL. Currently the Floor board is getting soaked, and when the AC is on, any time I make a left turn or hit the brakes it makes this weird grinding gurgling noise like a fan chopping water. I live in Florida where it is extremelly humid and hot, so we judge a good parking spot by the amount of shade, more than distance, so it is parked under trees a lot. When I run the ac and let it sit, there is no condensation puddling up.So all of these symptoms tell me the AC drain is clogged. Does anyone know where the drain is located or have a picture of it? I can't find one anywhere. I want to hit the drain with some compressed air. Once I find it I will video or take pics to, I just am not sure the best way to get started. I haven't been able to find anything on the internet yet, that's why I am making this post, so others can find this info too. Thanks in Advance!!! akirby
Should be a tube extending down near the firewall on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
CinnamonEdge
i have no clue where it is located but akirby is probably right. That is where you would typically find it, although my 2012 Edge seems to drip toward the center of the car near the B pillars. I think the water follows the plastic shields then drips out.
