wlepse
I still can't believe what happened, but today at lunch I get in my other car which is an Audi A4 and as I start driving a spider came out of the headliner. So my reaction was to smack it with the back of my hand. Well I got the spider but also cracked my windshield and not just a small one. The spider crack is probably 6" high and a foot wide. How the hell is that possible? I would have expected it would take a lot more force to break it...hell my hand does not hurt at all. Anyone have a similar experience? enigma-2
Sounds very unusual to me. All of my cracked windshields were from getting hit by a rock. Insurance should cover it 100% and last one I had replaced was done in the parking lot while I was working.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Wow, you should be in the pros, wlepse! J/K! I have not had this particular misfortune, thankfully. Though the FSM does note that if the rear view mirror is incorrectly dismounted, you can crack the windshield. So it's pretty easy to believe your experience!
