jhn1128
THE POWER BRAKES HAVE GONE OUT AND YOU HAVE TO REALLY PUSH HARD ON THE BRAKE PEDAL TO STOP THE CAR. . .IS THIS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE FIXED AT HOME OR SHOULD I TAKE IT TO AN EXPERIENCED REPAIR PLACE? macbwt
Depends on your mechanical abilities and tool access. Based on how you phrased your question I would recommend you take it to a mechanic.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
The mechanic can check out the master cylinder and brake fluid condition in addition to the booster while he's got the vehicle on-hand. Sometimes dirty brake fluid can cause all kinds of weird symptoms.
