macbwt
Hey folks, I installed a second dash cam to my 2011 ford edge limited. I moved the old dash cam to the rear since the LED screen was no longer working, but still records great. I then installed the new dash cam in the front. Pretty easy to do and provides you with a lot more security in the long run and helps you defend yourself in the event of any issues such as accidents etc. I have recorded my deer collision using the dash cam. I will put both videos in this post to see what they can do for you. Enjoy. Edited August 2, 2015 by macbwt
macbwt
Wonder how much longer before Ford installs cams front and rear to record using an SD chip and routed through the rear view mirror or the LCD display? I bet it will not be very long before it at least becomes and option. Would you buy that option?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Don't know about recording, but 360 view would be #1 priority. Recording a close second.
macbwt
A system that allows the user to choose to record or just view would be a great option with the 360 view. I bet it is only a matter of time especially since they are developing autonomous cars anyway. These dash cams are the equivalent of the the CD before thumb drives became the norm.
