srb2975
Left ball joint failed so I decided to replace both at the same time. While I didn't use the cheapest, I definitely didn't use the most expensive replacement, although it claimed to be OEM standards. Was fine for 3 months but now getting the pop/click on both sides now, depending which way I'm turning, and it only happens when turning on any sort of slope or under braking. Flat turns (i.e. from a stop) it doesn't happen, but when I'm turning to the right, I hear it from the left and vice-versa. Steering alignment is perfect and I don't feel anything in the steering wheel. Did I purchase some junk ball joints, possibly over-torque them, or should I be looking at something else? Selling soon and this could kill the deal after a test drive.
macbwt
What mileage you have on it? Pretty soon for even cheap ball joints to fail. You may want to check your sway bar links as they tend to make that sound when they are broken. Especially if you removed them and then re-installed them. Had a sway bar link break and it made a similar noise. Are your struts good?

Redbow
How about your CV joints? Ever had them checked and repacked? Just a thought.
