JimPeterson1279
So this weekend all was normal park the edge in the garage come out in the morning and my power door locks are not working. I checked, there are no blown fuses, the key fob attached to the key will still open the rear lift gate and lights come on as normal when you hit lock buttons and same with the drivers door keypad, lights come on if you hit 7&9 like you would to lock it but nothing locks no sound or anything.... And if you hit the interior buttons nothing happens as well. I've heard of one button going but not all and not all at once... Any help would be much appreciated! PaulSchott
does your lift gate release work? it is on the same circuit , The #17 fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box. IF the fuse is good you need to see if there is power going to it. All controlled by the body control module.

JimPeterson1279
Thanks for the Quick response Paul! Yes the lift gate works, but only from the button at the dash, the interior button in the rear cargo area, and the button on the key fob, not at the gate itself... I didn't pull the fuses to check them, I just ran down them with a voltage meter, 1 lead to ground and varified I had voltage to both sides of the fuses... (All of them... Under the hood too). Power windows are working so I didn't think to pull the interior door skins to verify voltage at the switch itself... I was kinda thinking since they all went at once that i was heading in the wrong direction taking them off

JimPeterson1279
Montyvox, you steered me in the right direction!! The issue is now solved and it was battery related... The battery is a 3yr free replacent battery that is only two yes old. I did not look in this direction because everything else was working normal, strong starts and all electrical loads beside the locks operating normally... So I looked at the battery there was a very slight corrosion visible.., sprayed it with battery cleaner acid neutralizer looked good but still no locks... so I pulled both the Neg and Pos terminals and I could see some missed by the cleaner... I Cleaned the post and terminals with fine sand paper reinstalled and sure enough!. The locks are working again!!!!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Cool beans! Did you spray/paste the terminals with corrosion protection? Really works! And enjoy that PCM re-learn
