testedone
I asked this in another thread but thought it might have got lost in the mix somewhere so starting a new thread.. 2013 SELI have both my original keys and have programmed my new keys (2) to the point they will start the car. I get a message on the display after programming that states "unable to program integrated key" and none of the remote FOB features work. I have tried the on and off 8 times method and all it does when I press any button on the new remotes is sound the horn.. Any ideas before I go to the stealer? candurin
This should work to program the button features of the IKT: Procedure : 1.Close all doors, then open drivers door and press the Unlock button on drivers door while it is open, insert key into ignition. 2.Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 8 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode. (if the door locks do not cycle, then it was done incorrectly. You must start over by removing key and beginning from step 1) (Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car.) 3.Within 10 seconds press any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. If you only have one remote then skip to step 5. 4.Within 10 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. Repeat step 4. for all other remotes. 5.Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.
candurin
I have also seen another way for other ford vehicle that may or may not be worth a try: To program the door lock remote part of the key, get in the truck and close the door. Insert a functioning key in the ignition and turn on-off (not starting) 8 times within 10 seconds leaving it in the ON position on the 8th time. The doors will lock. Then pushing any button on each of the remotes. You must press a button on each of them, even the ones already programmed.
testedone
If you read my original post I have tried that. The only response is the horn beeps. Other places I have read (F150) sate that this indicates you have a setting only accessible through the IDS tool that allows extra remotes or limits the number This should work to program the button features of the IKT:Procedure :1.Close all doors, then open drivers door and press the Unlock button on drivers door while it is open, insert key into ignition.2.Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 8 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode. (if the door locks do not cycle, then it was done incorrectly. You must start over by removing key and beginning from step 1)(Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car.)3.Within 10 seconds press any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. If you only have one remote then skip to step 5.4.Within 10 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. Repeat step 4. for all other remotes.5.Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode. gary712
it sounds like it is locked out. You will need the dealer IDS (computer)

EDST777
Hello. I programmed the second key (I have available one key). This should work to program the button features of the IKT:Procedure :1.Close all doors, then open drivers door and press the Unlock button on drivers door while it is open, insert key into ignition.2.Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 8 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Three buttons were programmed successfully (closing, opening and Alarm), but wasn't successful with the button of opening of a luggage carrier, it wasn't programmed. Any thoughts. Thanks. p.s.:The key with the chip shipped in China (the copy of the original), by the way I registered it in PATS also successfully by means of the ForScan program. Now I have two workers of a key, but the button of opening of a luggage carrier (a back door) doesn't work at the second, I would wish to correct it for 100%.
