PrinzII
Hey, Mac. Looks like you are going to have some company in the high mileage club. My 2011 Edge is at 128k.
macbwt
Sure looks like it. You are ahead. Have you replaced your front struts yet? Hey, Mac. Looks like you are going to have some company in the high mileage club. My 2011 Edge is at 128k.
macbwt
I decided to take a different approach to the snow tires to describe the benefits and sort of grabbed some footage off of the cutting room floor so to speak to make this video.
macbwt
Little off topic but you might not notice too much but I have lost about 20lbs and going down just trying to become half the man I was!!! Feeling better for it too.

macbwt
I have the next video getting lined up. I will be going to the manufacturing facility for FILTER MINDER in Waterloo Iowa. I plan on getting a filter minder for Lullubelle. No one has ever installed one on the Ford Edge that I am aware of. My contacts name is Bruce and he knows me as he went to school and graduated with my younger brother (yes there are more of me, actually three more) Anyway Bruce and I will be discussing the Ford Edge Forum and the install of a Filter Minder on my Edge. I am hoping for some video but will see how it all works out. He is going to help me determine the best location for the installation. macbwt
I may be installing this AEM filter minder on my Lullubelle this weekend. I met with the tech at Engineered Products and had a discussion on it. They sell these branded and manufactured for almost every auto parts and auto manufacturer known. Even if it says one brand name on it it is still sourced through Engineered Products out of Waterloo Iowa. Here are a few photos of the AEM low profile filter minder I have. My goal is to follow this on the Ford Edge and see just how long my AEM dry air filter will go before it activates the AEM filter Minder.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Looking forward to your experience with it (and install video ), mac. macbwt
Nothing really to work on due to time constraints with holidays. Thought I would play a little. Lady at my office has a nearly identical 2011 Ford Edge and we parked in the same area. Here are the results.

macbwt
Actually did the video to distract myself from all the work this week. I am now completely booked through the end of the year. Never happened before and my January is already booked. This might turn out to be a very good year for me in 2016. Just wishing for time to work on the suspension. The idle mind! Be careful!
macbwt
Things got crazy after I returned from my regular monthly oil change. Here is what happened. ART!!! in a sense. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--IHwpI6uXY
macbwt
Monthly oil change done. 32 days and about 5100 miles. Plus they put in new license plate screws since the car wash bent the license place up and blocked my rear view camera.

macbwt
Not even gonna try. Old brittle bones do not heal fast. LOL. More like under hood engine video and some good suspension video before and after with the new struts etc. mac aka Evil Knievel ...
macbwt
Lullubelle is complaining. I think I have a left front strut that is getting weak. Hit some bumps and the feed back was equivalent to me telling MOMOSHA I did not want to go Christmas shopping with her. LOL
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
With the deterioration of road infrastructure, a good suspension is getting ever more important. Hope you can get it figured out & taken care of!
macbwt
Getting the time is now the issue. I have all the parts. Just sitting in my basement waiting. Nice to be busy, but so busy now my boss talked to me about the possibility of bringing in back up so that I can continue to grow the division. Great way to close out the year. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Very glad to hear about work, mac I feel I should note, however, that Lulubelle had a premonition about the GoPro and now, as a result, is seeking attention. Coincidence???
macbwt
No doubt WWW, but Blueberry was the star of the show this afternoon. She had a battery Booger problem and I was not feeling myself in the beginning. LOL

macbwt
Finally installed that AEM filter minder on Lullubelle.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Professional job, mac Keep the info and the videos coming! Since the DryFlow has no special cleaning agent requirement, I'm thinking I might just make it routine to do a seasonal wash (no wax) with it, put a little extra mind into the minding. macbwt
After driving Blueberry this morning I have Deducted (no pun intended) that Lullubelle has a dead drivers side floor vent. No air movement and my heat is is very erratic. Guessing I will have to take it in for a check up to see what has failed then depending on how far into the dash I have to go if I repair it or the dealer does.
