normcloutier
Had my 40k service and some of the wheels needed to be rebalanced. Where they removed the old weights there remains ugly glue residue. What works best to remove that?

enigma-2
3m 03618 adhesive remover should take it off. Amazon.com has it for $11.15. Goo Gone takes off the white adhesive, 3m for the white or black adhesives. (If you use Goo Gone, leave it on for a half hour or so.)
ExNascarDood
One of the least harsh adhesive removal products I've found effect is .... WD40. It doesn't harm clear coated surfaces while it is VERY effective at removing adhesive from paint, rims etc. that have been clear coated.
