buffaloedge
I'm looking to get my hands on some tint film for my headlights that are similar to the transition lenses on some eyeglasses. Where the the film darkens when exposed to the uv rays of the sun but lightens to pretty much clear under darkness or artificial light. Have any of you seen anything like this? I realize it may be expensive but I would like an alternative to my current smoked film I have on my headlights now. Any help, links etc..would be greatly appreciated. enigma-2
Why would you want to put film on your headlights? That would drastically cut the amount of light for you to see with on the highway. As for the variable darkening film, it comes in two grades of darkening. Problem is, it never really gets light or dark enough. Don't know if this would work but seen a video on YouTube about using auto film that darkens with electricity. Flip a switch and instant dark. buffaloedge
Thanks for your reply, i will search those options. I like the darkened (smoked) headlight look that i currently have in attached photo. Want something a bit clearer at night though.
