dm683
I have a 2011 Ford Edge. I'm having a issue with the brakes. When I turn left the abs slightly engages. That is the only time. Does matter if the road is dry or wet. smooth or rough. but it only does it at slow speeds. Like when I'm turning into my driveway. It doesn't do it when I turn right or going straight. Any thoughts? macbwt
Wheel bearing wobble? Bent ring? Or wiring worn and touching the frame? Give it a good inspection.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Wheel speed sensor, then tone ring would be my choice culprits. Sometimes rust builds up on these parts, causing erroneous actions. A good cleaning may be all that's needed. prharm
I was traveling last weekend and al of a sudden the ABS (amber) light and the TRAC off symbol illuminated. I lost cruise control as well. When I shut down and restarted I got warnings for the Traction control, collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control inop. The brakes seemed a little different but still worked. The next day, I started the car and after the light test phase I had no lights. After driving I got the ABS etc on again. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Could brake booster issue be the culprit?
