tamugrad2013
Yesterday I went on a little road trip and somewhere along the way the under side plastic cover that covers the oil pan and the filter and some belts was hanging. One clip was completely missing. I tried to remove it and when I did the piece was cracked pretty badly damaged and another metal clip from the attachment point came off and was broken. My question is is I found this kit on the ford parts website but I can not tell if it actually comes with the plastic skid plate. I am going to go to the dealership hopefully tomorrow after work with the broken pieces and see how much it will cost to replace it and if the can order it. I have attached some pictures and the link to the parts online but I can't tell if the plastic cover actually comes with the kit. http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/CatalogResults.aspx?v=2fmdk3k95cba69273&initSearch=1&partNo=10494-A#Search Edited May 24, 2015 by tamugrad2013
tamugrad2013
Good new is it has been replaced. Bad news is that it cost 156 dollars for the plastic cover and one metal clip.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Ouch! Take comfort in the fact that it is not a fluff piece that the $$$ went towards!
